PlayBlog Behind the Scenes of York Theatre Company's Mad Show (Video) The Mad Show, a musical based on MAD Magazine, is one of the productions in the York Theatre Company's Summer 2011 Musicals in Mufti Concert Series, which presents musical theatre gems in staged concert performances.

The musical, directed by Carl Andress, runs July 29-31 and is described as "a comic revue filled with songs, sketches and the irreverent humor in the style of the ever-popular Mad magazine. While spoofing everything from television commercials to the generation gap, The Mad Show includes the timeless and hilarious sketch, 'How to Be President.'"

The cast of The Mad Show includes Stephanie d'Abruzzo (Avenue Q), Christine Pedi (Talk Radio, Little Me), Tally Sessions (The House of Blue Leaves), Chris Hoch (La Cage aux Folles, Shrek the Musical) and Steven Strafford. Here, the cast members introduce themselves and explain why they are mad about their production of The Mad Show.
