Originally scheduled to run through Nov. 2, Naked Angels has announced that Fault Lines will now play through Nov. 9. David Schwimmer directs the production, which began previews Sept. 22 and officially opened Sept. 30 Off-Broadway.
The cast features Noah Emmerich, Dominic Fumusa, Josh Lucas and Jennifer Mudge.
Press notes for Fault Lines read: "Whole Foods, Edie Brickell and mini-hot dogs abound in this dark and twisted new comedy, in which a seemingly ordinary boys' night out turns sour for two friends when a stranger forces them to delineate the boundaries between loyalty, conviction and betrayal."
Naked Angels will host a talk back with playwright Belber and the cast of Fault Lines following the 3 PM performance on Nov. 1.
Designing Fault Lines are Cameron Anderson (set design), Jason Lyons (lighting design), Mattie Ullrich (costume design), Bart Fasbender (sound design) and Matt Hodges (props). The production is presented by Dark Harbor Stories and Olympus Theatricals in association with The Araca Group and New York Stage & Film. Belber's plays include Match; A Small, Melodramatic Story; Tape; One Million Butterflies; and Carol Mulroney. His screen credits include "Rescue Me," "Law & Order: SVU," "Tape," "The Laramie Project" and the forthcoming film "Management." His play Geometry of Fire will receive its premiere at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in November.
