Vereen recorded the 11-track album during a concert engagement at Hartford Stage in July 2010. It was released by Ghostlight Records Feb. 15. Vereen will also sign copies of the album during the 7 PM event.

A Tony Award winner for his role in Pippin, Vereen has also appeared on Broadway in Wicked, Fosse, Chicago, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair and I'm Not Rappaport. He was also featured in the television miniseries "Roots."
