Tough! takes place in a dirty city park, where the town's whores go to attract customers and shoot up. There, teenaged Bobby is about to break up with his girlfriend Tina until he finds out she's pregnant with his child. It's Tina's best friend Jill who, despite her personal dislike for Bobby, tells him Tina is expecting, while defending her friend and harassing Bobby.

Walker is the author of Love and Anger, Zastrozzi, Criminals in Love and Heaven. His recent television writing includes "Due South" and "The Newsroom."

Amanda Duarte is Tina with Danny Wolohan as Bobby and Maria Candelaria as Jill.

Tickets are $30-$26. The Berkeley City Club is located at 2315 Durant Avenue. For tickets, call (510) 843-4822. The Aurora Theatre Company is on the web at http://auroratheatre.org. — By Christine Ehren
