Entitled Escape: 6 Ways to Get Away, the evening at Circle in the Square Theater will feature staged readings of several one-act plays. Titles include Jon Robin Baitz's My Beautiful Goddamn City (directed by John Rando), Doug Hughes' Madagascar (directed by Doug Hughes), Peter Hedges' A New Kind of George (directed by Hedges), Neil LaBute's Stand-Up (directed by Erica Gould) and Tim Blake Nelson's and the will becomes again a garden (directed by Doug Hughes). An excerpt from the new musical Miami will also be presented. Miami, set in 1959, features a book by Wendy Wasserstein, music by Jack Feldman, lyrics by Bruce Sussman and Feldman and direction by John Rando. Among the performers scheduled to take part in Escape are Bernhard, Imperioli, Josh Lucas, Audra McDonald, Julianna Margulies, Amanda Peet and Mary-Louise Parker. Show time is 7:30 PM.
