News Bernstein and Fringe Festival Featured on Aug. 18 "Theater Talk" Former League of American Theatres and Producers Executive Director Jed Bernstein will be featured on the Aug. 18 broadcast of "Theater Talk," the PBS chat show that offers interviews with top theatre practitioners.

Charlotte St. Martin recently succeeded Bernstein as the League's new executive director. Bernstein left the position after nearly 11 years to produce and market entertainment projects. In the upcoming interview, Bernstein will discuss his experiences with the League as well as his future plans. The 30-minute program will also spotlight the New York International Fringe Festival. Interviews and clips of Fringe productions will be part of this portion of the television program.

Hosted by New York Post theatre columnist Michael Riedel and producer Susan Haskins, "Theater Talk" airs on WNET/Thirteen at 12:30 AM ET. "Theater Talk" can also be seen on CUNY-TV (Channel 75) and WGBH (Channel 44) in Boston.
