News Best Solo Acts from Across the Globe Continue at Theatre Row The sixth annual United Solo Theatre Festival continues at Theatre Row Off-Broadway. The international festival for solo performances kicked off Sept. 17 and continues through Nov. 22.

The festival, the largest in the world of its kind, presents 150 one-person shows over a ten-week run, with works that blend puppetry, dance, multimedia, documentary, musical, improv, stand-up, poetry, magic and performance art.

All shows are staged at Theatre Row, located at 410 West 42nd Street, New York City. Tickets are priced at $20 and available through Telecharge.com or by calling (212) 239-6200.

"We believe the single person on stage gives us the opportunity to connect and focus on the uniqueness of human being," states United Solo. "Through the exploration of existential themes, solo artists reflect upon political, sexual, economical, religious, and social diversity. This diversity unites us all in a constellation of unique solos."

The festival is dedicated to presenting solo acts from across the U.S and world. The event, as well as bringing theatre-makers together, invites theatres and producers to discover original scripts and performers. The festival is now reviewing submissions for next season.
