Based on the U.K. series "Saturday Night Takeaway," "Best Time Ever" has been airing Tuesday nights at 10 PM following "The Voice." It had been scheduled to move to 8 PM Tuesdays starting Sept. 29 to serve as a lead-in for "The Voice." Instead, "Best Time" did well enough at 10 PM that it was kept there for an extra week. The show is currently scheduled to wrap up its first round of new episodes in November.

Harris won the 2014 Best Actor in a Musical Tony Award for his performance in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. He has performed on Broadway in Assassins, as well as Cabaret and Proof, and in the New York Philharmonic production of Company.
Harris, who has emceed the Tony Awards four times and the Emmys twice, made his Oscars hosting debut Feb. 22, 2015. He has been honored with four Emmy Awards: three for his acclaimed hosting of the Tony Awards and another for his guest-starring role on "Glee."
The queer-themed short plays will be made available for free to non-profit theatres, schools, and community organizations to support fundraising for LGBTQIA+ groups.
