The 7 PM concert, staged by Tony Award winner David Zippel, will feature music from NAMT-nurtured musicals including The Drowsy Chaperone, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Honk! and Children of Eden, among others.

Brian Hargrove and musical director Bard Haak will collaborate with Zippel (City of Angels, The Goodbye Girl) on the evening, which will have choreography by Lorin Latarro. Branden Huldeen is creative producer.

The line-up includes Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone), White (The Life), Boggess (The Little Mermaid), Butler (Catch Me If You Can), Patti Murin (Lysistrata Jones), Dee Hoty (The Will Rogers Follies), Susan Egan (Beauty and the Beast) and Grammy winner Amanda McBroom ("The Rose").

The benefit concert will be the culmination of NAMT's 25th Annual Festival of New Musicals. Presented Oct. 17-18 in Manhattan, the annual weekend of musical theatre provides a platform for emerging and established theatre writers to showcase their works with casts featuring Broadway and Off-Broadway actors. Many of the new works find life at regional companies, as well as Off-Broadway and on Broadway. Betsy King Militello is the executive director of NAMT.
