Taped in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the 70-minute production also features the Harlettes, 20 dancers Midler calls The Caesar Salad Girls and a 13-piece band.

Songs include “The Rose,” “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “From a Distance,” “Hello in There” and “Wind Beneath My Wings," among others.

The $10 million extravaganza played over 300 performances in a nearly three-year run. The production, which was taped for cable, is currently nominated for a 2011 Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special.

The Blu-ray has a suggested retail price of $24.98, with the DVD at $19.98.

"The Showgirl Must Go On" was produced by Midler and Seanne Farmer; directed by Midler; executive produced by Midler; choreographed by Toni Basil with original stage production conceived and directed by Midler.
