As previously announced, Newsies will be filmed live in Los Angeles prior to hitting movie theatres in 2017. CharityBuzz is holding an online auction for tickets to the September 11 taping and a meet and greet with the show’s Tony-nominated star, Jeremy Jordan.

Click here to bid on CharityBuzz for you and a guest to be part of the exclusive, by-invitation-only, live-filmed audience at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, CA. After the performance, you and your guest will be escorted backstage and meet Jordan.

Jordan, who was nominated for his performance as rebellious paperboy Jack Kelly in the musical, will be joined by Kara Lindsay as Katherine, Ben Fankhauser as Davey and Andrew Keenan-Bolger as Crutchie. They will be joined by members of the North American tour, including Steve Blanchard as Joseph Pulitzer and Aisha de Haas as Medda Larkin.

Additional cast from the Broadway and North American tour ensemble will also return.

The musical took home 2012 Tony Awards for Best Choreography (Christopher Gattelli) and Best Original Score (Alan Menken and Jack Feldman) and was nominated for Best Actor (Jordan), Best Book (Harvey Fierstein), Best Direction (Jeff Calhoun), Best Orchestrations (Daniel Troob), Best Scenic Design (Tobin Ost and Sven Ortel) and Best Musical.
