"I’m fascinated by taking it to the West End and seeing how the family would play over there," he said.

700 Sundays is an autobiographical work about Crystal's childhood. The title refers to the number of Sundays he spent with his father before the latter died. The show has proved a tremendous box office hit on Broadway.

He also said that he had no immediate plans to tape the show for television.

"I've been away from the stage on a regular basis for 15, 16 years. I've been lonely on the stage. The experience on stage has been so exhilarating, that this is all I want to do right now."
