Part of the Broadway at Birdland series, John Bucchino in Concert is scheduled to begin at 7 PM.

Bucchino, according to press notes, will "share songs from his CDs 'Grateful,' 'It's Only Life,' and 'On Richard Rodgers' Piano,' as well as material from his recent Broadway show A Catered Affair."

Bucchino has written songs for the musicals A Catered Affair, The Artist at 40, Urban Myths and Lavender Girl, a one-act included in an evening of short musicals called 3hree, compiled by Harold Prince. He has also written the songs for the Dreamworks animated film "Joseph, King of Dreams" and has released four CDs: "Grateful: The Songs of John Bucchino," "Solitude Lessons," "It's Only Life" and "On Richard Rodgers' Piano," which features solo piano interpretations of Rodgers songs on the composer's own Steinway.
