Part of the company's Musical Theatre Lab series, the readings will be presented May 23-24 at BSC Stage 2 in Pittsfield, MA. Show time both nights is 7:30 PM. Directed by Kevin Del Aguila with music direction by Matt Castle, the readings will feature the talents of Nick Blaemire as Nick, Tony nominee Barbara Walsh as Mrs. Duval, Orville Mendoza as the Sultan, Noel Molinelli as April, Robert DuSold as Mr. Lopes, Marcus Neville as Mr. Duval and Joshua Segarra as Jack. Danny Erdberg is assistant director.

Poolside at the Hotel Bel Air features music and lyrics by Nikos Tsakalakos and book and lyrics by Janet Allard. The musical, according to press notes, is described as such: "A pool boy's summer turns upside down when he's seduced by LA glitz and glam and a sexy older woman. Love and chaos ensue in this rocking new musical about a pool boy's hopes and dreams."

Barrington Stage Company's Musical Theatre Lab series is mentored by Tony-winning composer/lyricist William Finn.
