Off-Broadway News Blair Brown Joins Off-Broadway Premiere of Tracy Letts’ Mary Page Marlowe The Tony winner will share the title role with Tatiana Maslany, Susan Pourfar, and Emma Geer.

Blair Brown, who is currently starring on Broadway in Beau Willimon's political drama The Parisian Woman, will join the previously announced Emma Geer, Tatiana Maslany, and Susan Pourfar in Second Stage Theater’s New York premiere of Tracy Letts’ Mary Page Marlowe.

All four actors will play the title role in the production, with two more additional actors to be announced. Brown previously played the part in the play's world premiere in Chicago.

She is also known for TV's hit series Orange Is the New Black, and is a Tony winner for her performance in Copenhagen. Her other Broadway credits include Nikolai and the Others, Arcadia, The Secret Rapture, and Cabaret.

The Off-Broadway premiere of Mary Page Marlowe will be directed by Obie and Drama Desk Award winner Lila Neugebauer (The Wolves, Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo). Performances are scheduled to begin June 19 in 2ST’s Tony Kiser Theater ahead of a July 12 opening night.

Mary Page Marlowe pieces together a portrait of a woman from key moments in her life, with the title role shared among a number actors. The play received its world premiere at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre in 2016 with direction by Artistic Director Anna D. Shapiro; the production featured a 21-member cast, including seven actors who shared the title role.

Full casting for the Off-Broadway production will be announced shortly. The staging will feature scenic design by Laura Jellinek, costume design by Kaye Voyce, lighting design by Tyler Micoleau, sound design by Brandon Wolcott, and casting by Telsey + Company.
