News Block, Egan, Gibson, Sills and More Sing in PRO Benefit A host of theatre talent will take part in the 15th Annual Gala for the Parkinson's Resource Organization.

The Oct. 2 evening at the St. Regis Hotel & Spa in Los Angeles will feature a star-studded concert titled Broadway PRO. Directed by Jamie McGonnigal, the concert will feature the talents of Stephanie J. Block, Daisy Eagan, Susan Egan, Malcolm Gets, Deborah Gibson, Jodie Langel, Alec Mapa, Erin Quill, Gregg Marx, Jack Plotnick, Douglas Sills, Lea Thompson, Matt Zarley and Adrian Zmed. The gala begins at 5:30 PM with a live and silent auction, followed by dinner, dancing and the Broadway concert. Pat Boone will be the event's Honorary Chair. In a statement, PRO Volunteer President and Founder said, "I feel especially honored because of Mr. Boone's relationship to Parkinson's disease. The Boone family has experienced the challenges of Parkinson's, so they appreciate how vital an organization like PRO is to the families and friends of people with Parkinson's."

The non-profit Parkinson's Resource Organization, headquartered in Palm Desert, CA, is a lifeline for the families of people with Parkinson's Disease. The organization offers emotional support and education to caregivers and raises funds for respite care so caregivers can take time off from caring for individuals with fourth or fifth stage Parkinson's.
