News Blonde's Johnson to Play Upright Cabaret Natalie Joy Johnson, who plays Paulette in the national tour of Legally Blonde, will play two performances at the Upright Cabaret in Los Angeles.

Johnson will bring her acclaimed concert act to the West Coast venue Aug. 31 and Sept. 7. Show time both nights is 9 PM.

Ben Rimalower will direct the evenings, which feature musical direction by Our Lady J. John Hill, who penned special material, will also make a guest appearance.

Natalie Joy Johnson, who made her Broadway debut in Legally Blonde, was seen in How to Save the World and Find True Love in 90 Minutes and bare: a pop opera. She starred in the 2001 national tour of Godspell as well as the New York Fringe Festival production of Slut, the Actors' Fund benefit concert of Chess and the Pippin benefit concert. Johnson also appeared in the workshop of the play Joy.
