News Blue Man Group Collaborates on Upcoming Animated "Robots" Score; Performs at Premiere The Off-Broadway hit Blue Man Group adds film scoring to the team's growing, multi-faceted resume as the team collaborate on the upcoming animated feature "Robots."

Blue Man Group joined acclaimed composer John Powell on the score for the upcoming 20th Century Fox film starring the voices of Ewan McGregor, Halle Berry, Greg Kinnear, Mel Brooks, Robin Williams, and Amanda Bynes.

"Robots," as show materials explain, "takes place in a wondrously clanking universe populated solely by mechanical beings." BMG provides the metal world setting of "Robot City" with "over 25 metal percussion instruments created specifically to accent the score."

The "Robots" soundtrack will be released on Virgin Records March 1 followed by the original motion picture score released by Varese Sarabande March 15. The blue trio will perform at the film's world premiere in Los Angeles March 6> "Robots" opens nationwide March 11. For more details, visit www.robotsmovie.com.
