News   Bob Dylan Musical Forever Young To Play at London's Royal National Theatre
The new musical production Forever Young: The Music of Bob Dylan, which made its world premiere as part of the Young Conservatory program at San Francisco's American Conservatory Theatre, will travel to London's Royal National Theatre.

The work was chosen to be part of the Royal National's annual summer youth theater festival, "Shell Connections." The YC performances of Forever Young will play July 16-22. The original cast will travel to London for the presentation.

Created and directed by Craig Slaight with musical direction from Krista Wigle and musical arrangements by Naomi Sanchez, Forever Young features an array of such classic Dylan songs as "Like a Rolling Stone," "Mr. Tambourine Man" and "The Times They Are A-Changin'."

The Dylan homage features ten teen actors from the Young Conservatory performing a combination of solos, duets and ensemble numbers. The cast includes Adde Bigelow, Eric Butte, Nathalie Michele Gorman, Rose Hogan, Zachary Karnazes, Philip Markle, Julia Mattison, Matt Mauricio, Rachel Rubenstein and Dylan Saunders.

Folk-rock singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, over the span of his 40-year career, has produced more then 40 albums. His songs have been covered by such diverse artists as Bob Marley, Joan Baez, Elvis Presley, Stevie Wonder and U2. Dylan was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. In 1997, Dylan became the first rock star ever to receive the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors for artistic excellence. Other awards include eight Grammy Awards and one Oscar for Best Original Song for "Things Have Changed" from the 2000 film "Wonder Boys."
