In honor of William Shakespeare's 436th birthday, the Shakespeare Society has invited the casts of Off-Broadway's The Bomb-itty of Errors (adapted from the Bard's A Comedy of Errors) and Gorilla Rep's long- running A Midsummer Night's Dream to join it's annual wreath laying ceremony in Central Park on April 24.
Come rain or shine, the crew from Bomb-itty, the cast of Gorilla Reps' Midsummer and the folks at the Shakespeare Society will lay a wreath at the Brad's statue on the Mall in Central Park.
The event takes place from 12:30-1:30 on April 24. The casts of both shows will perform segments from their acts.
Shakespearean actor Roger Rees, starring in Roundabout's Uncle Vanya on Broadway, will make an appearance, as well as New York City parks commissioner Henry J. Stern.
