News Book of Mormon’s Nikki Renée Daniels and Husband Jeff Kready Are Expecting The couple announced via social media that they are expecting their second child.

Broadway’s The Book of Mormon announced on its Twitter page that Nikki Renée Daniels, who plays the role of Nabulungi, will depart on maternity leave. Kim Exum will take over the role starting this week.


Daniels and her husband, fellow Broadway actor Jeff Kready, met while working on the 2006 revival of Les Misérables. The married couple welcomed their daughter, Lena, in 2013 and are now expecting their second child.

In addition to The Book of Mormon, Daniels has appeared on Broadway as Clara in Porgy and Bess, Anything Goes, and Promises, Promises. Kready has been seen in Billy Elliot The Musical on Broadway as well as A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, where he took on the role of Monty Navarro during Tony nominee Bryce Pinkham’s hiatus.
