PlayBlog Book of Mormon's Rory O'Malley Visits "Good Day NY" (Video) 2011 Tony Award nominee Rory O'Malley, currently starring in The Book of Mormon, visited "Good Day NY" to talk about the Tony-nominated musical, his character and the organization Broadway Impact.


O'Malley recently became a Givenik Ambassador in order to further discuss the charity that he supports, Broadway Impact, which supports marriage equality and was formed by O'Malley, Gavin Creel (Hair) and Jenny Kanelos.

Mormon, by Emmy Award-winning “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q Tony Award winner Robert Lopez, follows an unlikely pair of Mormons as they venture from Salt Lake City to AIDS-ravaged Uganda in the hopes of converting villagers with the story of Joseph Smith and the founding of the Mormon Church. The problem is only one of them has actually read the book.
