This third cabaret at the uptown museum is inspired by the exhibition "Glamour, New York Style."
Written and directed by Michael Montel, the cabaret will also star Brigid Brady (of Broadway's The Phantom of the Opera) and Steve Wilson (Broadway's The Frogs and By Jeeves).
Lawrence Yurman is musical director of the show that "celebrates the wit, style, and glamour of New York through work of some of Broadway’s best composers including Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Kurt Weill and Michael John LaChiusa, as well as the writings of the incomparable Dorothy Parker."
The performances are at 3 PM May 21-22 at the Museum of the City of New York, 1220 Fifth Avenue at 103rd Street.
Reservations are required. Admission is $10 for museum members, seniors and students; $15 for non-members. Call (212) 534-1672 ext. 3393 or visit www.mcny.org.
