News Born for Broadway Benefit Concert Will Be Held at 54 Below The fourth annual Born for Broadway celebrity cabaret, which raises money for paralysis-based organizations, will be presented Sept. 30 at 54 Below.

Tony nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge will direct the evening with musical direction by Lawrence Yurman. Doors will open at 8:45 PM for the 9:30 PM performance.

Hosts and performers will be announced at a later date.

Born for Broadway was created ten years ago as a student-sponsored cabaret at Marymount Manhattan College, where founder and executive producer Sarah Galli was enrolled as a performance major. She created the show as a way to give back after her brother, Jeff, suffered a spinal cord injury in 1998 in a diving accident.

Born's mission is to engage college campuses across the nation in raising funds for paralysis related organizations.
