The Mill 6 Collaborative, the Boston-area troupe known for irreverent comic evenings, will present Lettuce Entertain You: An Evening of Two Short Comedies About Love, Jealousy and Lettuce, July 18-27 at the Theatre Co-Operative in Somerville, MA.

The show is composed of Boise, Idaho by Sean Michael Welch and This Is a Play by Daniel MacIvor, the Canadian playwright who has recently received numerous stagings in New York City. In Boise, a cafe patron wills a coffee house's populations into a passion play of his own making. In Play, we hear the thoughts of the three actors taking part in a weird Southern drama.

Paula Ramsdell will direct the latter. Mill 6 artistic director John Edward O'Brien will pilot the Welch.

The cast includes Richard Archer, Irene Daly, Dave Dowling, Carolyn Fagan, Beth Goldman, Nathaniel Gundy, Lonnie McAdoo and Brent Reno.

Past Mill 6 productions include Cafe Society. Tickets are $10. The Theatre Co-Operative is located at 277 Broadway in Sommerville. For reservations and information please call (617) 240 6317.
