Something Wicked This Way Comes comes to Pasadena's Knightsbridge Theatre Oct. 20-Nov. 25. The Ray Bradbury novel, the second of the science fiction master's works to appear on Los Angeles-area stages in 2001, opens its L.A. premiere Nov. 3.

In Something Wicked This Way Comes, two teenaged boys discover that the Cooger and Dark carnival that has rolled into their 1950's town is not there to entertain the locals, but illuminate their darkest desires and impulses. Bradbury is the author of "Fahrenheit 451,""The Martian Chronicles" and "The Illustrated Man," as well as the theatrical comedy Falling Upward or to Eire Is Human, To Forbid Divine, playing in L.A. through Nov. 4.

Knightsbridge company member and "Magic Fingers" harpist Jonathan Sheets directs. Something Wicked This Way Comes features Dex Kotora and John Tribken.
