"60 Minutes" will spend a segment on August Wilson and his hometown of Pittsburgh Jan. 27. Ed Bradley will interview the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright in various childhood haunts in the Hill section where he grew up.

Wilson has chronicled the lives of African Americans in America through his decade-by-decade plays. These include the multi-award winning King Hedley II, Jitney, Two Trains Running, Joe Turner's Come and Gone, The Piano Lesson, Seven Guitars and Fences.

"60 Minutes" airs at 7PM on CBS, EST. Check local listings for time.
