MCC Theater’s Miscast gala, the Off-Broadway theatre’s annual event that sees Broadway stars perform songs from roles in which they would never be cast, featured performers including Annaleigh Ashford, Norbert Leo Butz, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Jennifer Holliday, Kelli O’Hara, Stephanie J. Block, Brian d’Arcy James, Brandon Victor Dixon, Ben Platt, and Mandy Gonzalez.

Miscast 2017, which took place April 3 at the Hammerstein Ballroom, also celebrated MCC’s 30th anniversary.
