News Brandon Victor Dixon, Jarrod Spector, Amber Iman and More Will Join Douglas Lyons and Ethan Pakchar at Rockwood Contemporary musical theatre songwriters Douglas Lyons and Ethan Pakchar will celebrate the release of their debut album "#LOVE" with a concert Dec. 9 at Rockwood Music Hall.

"#LOVE," an 11-song album that will be released digitally Dec. 2, mixes pop, R&B and theatre to explore "the good, bad and awkward roller coasters in human relationships."

Performers at the Dec. 9 concert include Brandon Victor Dixon (Motown), Jarrod Spector (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Amber Iman (Soul Doctor), Krystal Joy Brown (Big Fish), Carly Hughes (Ghost the Musical), Alison Cusano (A Night with Janis Joplin), Mykal Kilgore (Hair), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), E. Clayton Cornelius (Wonderland), Rashidra Scott (Sister Act), Aaron Lavigne (Spider-Man Turn off the Dark), Marty Thomas (Xanadu), Katie Thompson (Off-Broadway's Giant), Alexa Green, Bradley Greer and Talia Thiesfield.

Lyons, who handles lyrics and music, is a Broadway actor who currently appears in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and has performed in Rent and Dreamgirls. Pakchar, a guitarist and composer who has played for the Broadway productions of Wicked, Book of Mormon and Newsies, provides orchestration and additional music. The two are developing a musical entitled '79, inspired by the score of "#LOVE."
