Brian Bedford and Kathryn Walker will trod Homer's territory at Ontario's Stratford Festival Aug. 16, 18 & 20, reading excerpts of Robert Fagles' acclaimed modern verse adaptation of "The Odyssey." Author and narrator Fagles will also be on hand, at the Tom Patterson Theatre, Stratford's intimate three-quarter space in Stratford, Ontario.

"The Odyssey," Homer's epic of western lit, written around the late eighth century, B.C., chronicles the adventures of Odysseus and his crew as they make their way back to Ithaca after the Trojan War.

Performances of the "dramatic reading" are 8 PM Aug. 16, 2 PM Aug. 18 and 2 PM Aug. 20.
