Classic Arts News Brian Culbertson Disc Debuts at Number One on Contemporary Jazz Chart It's One Tonight, the latest album from pianist Brian Culbertson, debuted on the Billboard contemporary-jazz chart this week at number one.
The album, Culbertson's seventh, includes guest appearances by such jazz and pop stars as Will Downing, Patti Austin, Chris Botti, and Boney James.

Also new to the chart were Honey Love, a compilation of "smooth jazz" interpretations of songs by the pop star R. Kelly, at number four and saxophonist Mike Phillips' Uncommon Denominator at number eight.

Michael Bubl_'s It's Time topped the jazz chart for the 24th time. New entries included Outre Mer, the soundtrack for a yet-to-be-released film by the jazz-funk group Garage a Trois, at number 15; Ella Fitzgerald, a compilation on the Jazz Biography Series, debuted at number 25.
