News Brian Dykstra, Susan Ferrara, Christopher Hirsh, Lori Prince Long for First Prize, Opening May 2 Kef theatrical productions, headed by artistic director Adam Fitzgerald, presents the world premiere of Israela Margalit's First Prize, which officially opens May 2 at the Arclight Theatre.

Directed by Margarett Perry, previews began at the Off-Broadway venue April 28. Performances will continue through May 21.

The cast features Brian Dykstra, Susan Ferrara, Christopher Hirsh and Lori Prince.

First Prize, according to press notes, "explores a young woman’s quest for glory and fulfillment in the cutthroat world of classical music. Inspired by her real-life experience, Margalit weaves a story of colorful characters with wit, charm, passion and dynamic classical music. The production features Margalit’s piano playing from her numerous internationally acclaimed recordings."

Show times are Monday at 7:30 PM and Thursday-Saturday at 8 PM.
