"Jeopardy!" has used many Broadway and theatre-related subjects as categories in recent months. In the past, the "Clue Crew" from the hit TV show visited Broadway productions to tape a series of clues and answers concerning various musicals. Just this May, five Off-Broadway shows were used in a category. The Vegas cast of Avenue Q appeared on the show last September, and the musicals Avenue Q, The Lion King and Wicked were part of a "Puppetry on Broadway" category in Nov. 2005. Created by Merv Griffin and hosted by Alex Trebek, "Jeopardy!" has won 24 Emmy Awards since its debut in 1984. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television.
