The musical Forever Plaid starts the season with an eight-week summer run, July 6-Aug. 29. The work by Stuart Ross follows a quartet of male singers who crash their car on the way to their first big concert. The '50s style group get one more chance in heaven to perform the gig that never was.

Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom's Tuesdays With Morrie, the play based on the Albom best-selling book is next, Sept. 7-Oct. 10. The author retells the life lessons learned during weekly visits with his dying college professor Morrie Schwartz.

Nicholas Wright's Vincent in Brixton makes its west coast premiere, Dec. 28, 2004-Jan. 30, 2005. In London of 1873, a young man by the name of Vincent Van Gogh rents a room while working for art dealers but discovering more than masterpieces.

Eric Coble's Bright Ideas played Off-Broadway last year and will make its way to California, Feb. 15-March 20, 2005. The satire finds a young couple that stops at nothing to place their child in the best pre-school.

The new drama 36 Views by Naomi Iizuka plays Laguna March 29-May 1, 2005. In the work, an art dealer and historian uncover an ancient Japanese pillow book and seek to discover if the manuscript is real. The two plays which will fill out the season in the Nov. 2-Dec. 5 and May 24-June 26, 2005 slots will be announced shortly.
