Steven Brinberg as "Simply Barbra" (Streisand)

Directed and choreographed by Connor Gallagher and music directed by John Fischer, the 8 PM performance will feature Brinberg as Fanny Brice, the role created by Barbra Streisand. Funny Girl opened at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre on March 26, 1964, starring Streisand. Its Jule Styne-Bob Merrill score includes such tunes as "Sadie, Sadie," "Don't Rain on My Parade," "I'm the Greatest Star," "The Music That Makes Me Dance," "Who Are You Now?" and the show's anthem, "People." Isobel Lennart wrote the book for the musical.

Steven Brinberg has performed his Streisand impersonation on stages in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Houston and the U.K. He recently completed a sold-out tour of the U.K. and the West End, following record-breaking runs at London's Playhouse and Jermyn Street theatres. Brinberg is the winner of the MAC Award and the Bistro Award for his Simply Barbra performances. He also appeared in the workshops of Ken Page's musical Nightlife and can be heard on "Simply Barbra Duets."

Tickets, priced $25-$100, are available by visiting www.ReVisionTheatre.org or by calling (732) 455-3059.
