The Play What I Wrote broke box office records during its hugely successful run at Wyndham's Theatre. It will close on May 5.

The idea behind the closing is to give The Right Size comedy team (Sean Foley and Hamish McColl) and their co-star Toby Jones a break, after a strenuous six months or so of their highly physical performances in the West End.

The Play What I Wrote is a tribute to Morecambe and Wise, the television double act who were a British national institution in the 1960s and 1970s.
