PlayBlog Britney Spears Sings The Praises of "Glee" Pop princess Britney Spears has added her voice of tribute to the chorus of music icons whose work has been used in episodes of "Glee."


Spears, who will make a cameo appearance in the Sept. 28 episode that's devoted to her music catalogue, has released a statement saying, ?“Working on 'Glee' was an amazing experience. The cast is so talented, and I really had an incredible time working with [co-creator] Ryan Murphy.”

Recurring guest stars for the second season of "Glee" include the previously announced John Stamos, Charice and Chord Overstreet, as well as Dot Marie Jones, who will play Coach Beiste, the new head of the football team and a rival for Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch).

The second season of "Glee" begins Sept. 21 at 8 PM ET on Fox.
