News "Bro Code for Parents" Audiobook, Narrated by Neil Patrick Harris, Will Be Released in October Stage and screen actor Neil Patrick Harris, who stars in the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother," will narrate the audiobook for "The Bro Codes for Parents: What to Expect When You're Awesome" as Barney Stinson, the role he plays on the aforementioned television series.

"The Bro Code" audiobook will be released for digital download as well as on CD Oct. 2 by Simon & Schuster.

The book, co-authored by fictional character Barney Stinson and Matt Kuhn, a staff writer for "How I Met Your Mother," is available in paperback and digital formats.

Harris' Broadway credits include Assassins, Proof and Cabaret as well as the L.A. company of Rent, the Reprise! and New York Philharmonic productions of Company and Sweeney Todd and the London mounting of tick, tick...BOOM! Harris is also well known for his television work on "Doogie Howser, M.D." He has also hosted the Tony Awards three times.
