The event, scheduled to begin at 9 PM, is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Directed by Tony Spinosa (La Cage aux Folles), Broadway Bares: Solo Strips features Cesar Abreu (The Metropolitan Opera), Guto Bittencourt (Les Misérables), Josh Buscher (Priscilla Queen of the Desert), Sam Cahn (Memphis), Adam Fleming (Wicked), Nick Kenkel (Evita), Grasan Kingsberry (Leap of Faith), Andy Mills (Memphis), Brandon Rubendall (Anything Goes) and Robb Sherman (The Skinny).

Solo Strips is a return to the origins of Broadway Bares when, in 1992, creator Jerry Mitchell—then a performer in Will Rogers Follies—organized a benefit burlesque show featuring himself and six friends performing original strips at a bar for a $10 donation plus whatever tips the audience gave the dancers.

As previously announced, Broadway Bares XXII: Happy Endings will be presented June 17 at 9:30 PM and midnight at the famed Roseland Ballroom.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the nation's largest industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization. Since its founding in 1988 the organization has distributed over $195 million for services for people with AIDS, HIV or HIV-related illnesses.
