Ann Reinking from Dancin'
Original Costume Designer: Willa Kim
Bear Costume Designer: Therese J. Stadelmeier with the assistance of: Steven Bryant (wig) and Mark Applegate and with special thanks to Sally Ann Parsons
Not a lotta singin', not a lotta talkin', but a whole lotta Dancin' — an evening of theatre 'ography as created by Bob Fosse and featuring none other than one of the ideal Fosse dancers: Ann Reinking. True to the original design for Ms. Reinking's performance in "Sing, Sing, Sing", this bear is a vision in blue. Starting with a layer of shimmering royal blue spandex, this "simple" little dress was then hand-beaded. Hundreds of bugle beads in blue, black and crystal were used to create the geometric designs for the stunning dress. From head to toe she is complete: on her head, a stunning long-haired auburn wig, hand-tied from human hair. On her toes, hand-made shoes of silver lamé and blue fabric that match the dress. And did we mention those Reinking signature long legs? Now, there's an extension to kick about!
