"Fanny Bear-ice" from Funny Girl

Original Costume Designer: Irene Sharaff
Bear Costume Designer: Terry Sipress
Signed by Barbra Streisand

"Fanny Bear-ice" is dressed in her infamous wedding gown which is made of satin and lace and decorated subtlely with rosebuds. Underneath, her bloomers are trimmed with a bit of very fragile vintage lace. To achieve the "expecting" look, a pillow has been tied around her middle. Her mantilla-style bridal veil is finished with a crown of flowers. Fanny carries a traditional bouquet and, more importantly, a mirror -- so that she may capture "the beautiful reflection of her love’s affection."
