News Broadway Boys' New Holiday Album Gets Bumped to 2011 PS Classics announced that it will hold the release of The Broadway Boys' holiday album, entitled "Hark!," until next season, in order to coincide with the group's fall 2011 tour.

The album, which will feature performances by The Broadway Boys and guests Shoshana Bean and Shayna Steele — offering fresh arrangements of "The Little Drummer Boy," "Silent Night," "The Chanukah Song" and many more — had previously been announced for Nov. 2, but will now be available Oct. 18, 2011. Jesse Nager, founder of The Broadway Boys, told Playbill.com, "The Broadway Boys have recently assembled a booking, general management, investor, design, marketing and press team. And while the musical component of the album was complete, everyone involved felt it was prudent to line up the album release with the upcoming tour. We're confident that when all of the elements of the tour, design and advertising strategy are aligned, 'Hark!' will have a longer and more exciting shelf life. We promise our fans that the final package will be worth the wait."

PS Classics co-founder Philip Chaffin added, "We're obviously delighted that The Broadway Boys have put this amazing tour apparatus in place, and look forward to tying in the release of 'Hark!' And in the meantime, their first album, 'Lullaby of Broadway,' promises to sell strongly through the holidays and well beyond. Customers have really embraced it, which has been gratifying."

Founded in 2000 by Tommy Krasker & Philip Chaffin, and a four-time Grammy nominee (for its cast albums of Assassins, Nine: The Musical, Grey Gardens and Company), PS Classics celebrates the heritage of Broadway and American popular song through its award-winning cast recordings; solo albums by such luminaries as Maureen McGovern, Victoria Clark, Jessica Molaskey and Christine Andreas; and recordings drawn from rare sound archives, including "Sondheim Sings." Its most recent releases include solo albums by Liz Callaway, Rebecca Luker and Kate Baldwin, and Broadway cast recordings of Finian's Rainbow, A Little Night Music, Sondheim on Sondheim and La Cage Aux Folles.
