News Broadway Boys Will Record Yule Album; Singers Appear at NYC Barnes and Noble July 7 The Broadway Boys, the collective of actor-singers heard on the recent PS Classics release, "Lullaby of Broadway," head back into the recording studio July 7 to begin work on a new holiday CD for the label.

Also on July 7, The Broadway Boys will appear at 6 PM at Barnes & Noble at Lincoln Center (66th and Broadway) for a performance and CD signing.

The upcoming PS Classics album will boast a holiday theme, with arrangements of "Hark!," "The Little Drummer Boy," "Silent Night," "The Chanukah Song," and many more.

Scheduled to perform on the recording are Jesse Nager (Xanadu), Danny Calvert (Altar Boyz), Tyler Maynard (The Little Mermaid), Kyle Post (Rent), Gabe Violett (Spring Awakening), Mykal Kilgore (Hair), Zak Resnick (Dogfight) and Landon Beard (Altar Boyz). Justin Paul (James and the Giant Peach) and James Sampliner (Legally Blonde) will music direct; female guest vocalists include Shoshana Bean (Wicked) and Shayna Steele (Hairspray).

The release of the holiday album, scheduled for late fall, will coincide with the sixth annual Broadway Sings for Toys event hosted by The Broadway Boys. Past guests of the benefit for Toys for Tots have included Stephanie J. Block, Michael McElroy, Julia Murney, Andrew Lippa, Gavin Creel, Capathia Jenkins, and Broadway casts. Details of this year's event will be announced shortly.

The Broadway Boys will return to Birdland on Aug. 16 at 7 PM. Additional tour dates to follow. *
