News Broadway by the Year Series Will Celebrate 100 Years of Broadway with 100 Artists in Four Concerts in 2014 When the acclaimed Broadway by the Year series, which typically focuses on one year in Broadway musical history per concert, returns for its 14th season at The Town Hall, it will do so with a new twist.

Each of the four concerts will celebrate a quarter of a century of Broadway tunes, including songs from A Chorus Line, Annie Get Your Gun, Babes in Arms, Brigadoon, Cabaret, Candide, Dreamgirls, Follies, Funny Girl, Girl Crazy, Gypsy, Guys & Dolls, Into the Woods, La Cage aux Folles, Lady Be Good and Kiss Me, Kate, among others. In all, 100 years of Broadway musicals will be performed by 100 theatre artists.

Dates for the upcoming season follow:

The Broadway Musicals of 1915-1939: Feb. 24, 2014, at 8 PM

The Broadway Musicals of 1940-1964: March 31 at 8 PM

The Broadway Musicals of 1965-1989: May 12 at 8 PM The Broadway Musicals of 1990-2014: June 23 at 8 PM

Series creator, writer and host Scott Siegel will be joined on stage by a host of Broadway favorites, including Stephanie J. Block, Carolee Carmello, Laura Osnes,Chuck Cooper, Beth Leavel, Judy Kaye, Bob Martin, Tonya Pinkins, Karen Ziemba, Karen Akers, Christine Andreas, Liz Callaway, Robert Cuccioli, Linda Eder, Christiane Noll, Douglas Sills and Emily Skinner. Details will be announced at a later time.

The evenings will feature music direction by Ross Patterson.
