The Broadway community comes together June 10 to celebrate the 72nd Annual Tony Awards, celebrating the creative teams, producers, stars, and beyond who made the last season on Broadway possible. Click here for the full list of nominees.

The CBS airing will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall kicking off at 8PM ET.

After Playbill’s Live From the Red Carpet Special (be sure to follow Playbill on Facebook to tune in), Playbill will report the winners live from the Tony Awards press room as they are announced, starting shortly after 7 PM ET with the Creative Arts awards. (Recipients in some categories will be announced prior to the live national broadcast in a ceremony hosted by Tony winner Marissa Jaret Winokur and Brandon Victor Dixon.)


Hosted by Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban, the evening will feature performances from a number of this year’s Tony-nominated shows including The Band’s Visit, Carousel, Frozen, Mean Girls, My Fair Lady, Once on This Island, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical, and Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, as well as a special performance from the 2017 Tony Award-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen.

Bruce Springsteen, who is set to receive a Special Tony Award this evening and who is currently on Broadway in Springsteen on Broadway, will also perform. Latin History for Morons' John Leguizamo will also receive Special Tony Award; along with Lifetime Achievement recipients Andrew Lloyd Webber and Chita Rivera.

The 2018 Tony Awards will also feature appearances by Uzo Aduba, Christine Baranski, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Melissa Benoist, Erich Bergen, Rachel Bloom, Matt Bomer, Rachel Brosnahan, Tituss Burgess, Claire Danes, Jeff Daniels, Robert De Niro, Tina Fey, Armie Hammer, Christopher Jackson, Billy Joel, John Leguizamo, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Patti LuPone, Tatiana Maslany, Katharine McPhee, Matthew Morrison, Leslie Odom Jr, Kelli O’Hara, Jim Parsons, Bernadette Peters, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Chita Rivera, Amy Schumer, Kerry Washington, and Ming-Na Wen.
