The annual series will launch Sept. 26 at 7:30 PM with Bound for Broadway XI. Tony nominee Liz Callaway will once again host the evening, which features a sneak peek at musicals currently in development.
Broadway Close Up: Lennon & McCartney is scheduled for Oct. 17 at 7:30 PM. Sean Hartley will host the evening of Beatles tunes, which will be interpreted by Heidi Blickenstaff (currently in The Addams Family), Benjamin Schrader (currently in The Book of Mormon), Clarke Thorell (currently in Mamma Mia!) and Michael Winther.
Two performances of Broadway Close Up: Noel & Cole in Love are scheduled for Nov. 7 and 9 at 7:30 PM. The love songs of Cole Porter and Noël Coward, combined in new arrangements by Broadway arranger/music director David Loud, will be performed by Heidi Blickenstaff and others to be announced at a later date.
The season will conclude Dec. 5 at 7:30 PM with Broadway Close Up: Jerry Herman. The celebration of the composer of Mame and Hello, Dolly! will feature interviews with and/or performances by Debra Monk, Lee Roy Reams, Christine Pedi, Eric Comstock and Jason Robinson with a special focus on Herman's Dear World.
