Thomas Gomez, 77, a dancer in Broadway companies of On the Town, Cabin in the Sky and Show Boat, died Oct. 29 in Chicago, the New York Times reported. The cause of death was bone cancer. Mr. Gomez danced under the name Tommy Gomez in Broadway shows including Tropical Revue and The King and I. He was a student of Katherine Dunham and danced with her company.

In the movies, he appeared in "Stormy Weather," "Carnival of Rhythm" and "Cleopatra." He is survived by a son, Thomas Gomez 3d, of Ann Arbor, MI, wife Ramona, of Stamford, CT, and his mother, Theresa Woosley of Chicago.
