News Broadway For Broke People Concert to Feature Songs from Spider-Man, Tarzan, Titanic, Taboo Broadway For Broke People, a one-night cabaret performance to benefit Theatrical Gems, will be presented April 2 at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre.

The 9:30 PM concert will feature songs "stripped of their spectacle." Performers will include Michal Salonia, Kenney M. Green, Carissa Massaro, Tara Novie, Erin O’Neil and singer-songwriter Andy Mac with Benjamin Chambers, Caitlin Ferchaw, Seth Price, Ashley Primavera and Megan Taylor.

Steven H. Taylor will be the musical director.

Audiences can expect to hear tunes from The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Tarzan, Starlight Express, Taboo, Lestat, Titanic, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and more.

Tickets are $15 plus a two-drink minimum and can be reserved online at www.theduplex.com or by calling (212) 255-5438. Tickets will be purchased at the door.
