Originally scheduled to begin previews Nov. 16 with an official opening Dec. 4, the revival of Harold Pinter's play will now begin previews at the Cort Theatre Nov. 23 with an opening on Dec. 9. The 20-week limited engagement will run through April 13, 2008. Daniel Sullivan directs.

The design team will feature set designer Eugene Lee, lighting designer Kenneth Posner and costume designer Jess Goldstein.

Set in North London, The Homecoming, according to press notes, "concerns the ultimate dysfunctional family, presided over by its patriarch Max (McShane). Living under his dilapidated roof are his younger brother Sam (McKean), and two of his sons: Lenny (Esparza), the town pimp, and Joey, a boxer-in-training. Tensions begin to flair with the arrival of Max's eldest son Teddy, who returns home after six years with his new wife Ruth. Seduction, betrayal, and divisiveness ensue, as the family welcomes the homecoming of its estranged brother and vies for the attention of his dangerously alluring wife."

Harold Pinter is also the author of The Caretaker, Betrayal, The Room, Ashes to Ashes and Celebration.

The Homecoming will be produced on Broadway by Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, Harold Thau, Ronald Frankel, Barbara Freitag, Herb Goldsmith and Terry E. Schnuck.

The Cort Theatre is located in Manhattan at 138 West 48th Street.
