News Broadway in Boston New Season Filled with Bway Tours and Lion King at Opera House Shows that filled the Broadway boards this season will head north as national tours of Hairspray, Def Poetry Jam, Urinetown, The Graduate, Movin' Out, Oklahoma! and The Lion King are all part of the Broadway in Boston/Clear Channel Entertainment 2003-2004 season.

Broadway in Boston will utilize its spaces at the Colonial and Wilbur Theatres as well as present an international tour of Porgy & Bess at the Emerson Majestic Theatre. Marking an historic occasion, a multiple-week limited engagement of The Lion King will inaugurate the newly-restored Opera House.

Other attractions include The Theatre Royal Bath's production of William Shakespeare's As You Like It directed by Sir Peter Hall, Canadian theatre troupe Cirque Eloize and Ireland's Abbey Theatre presentation of The Plough and the Stars by Sean O'Casey. Children and parents can also delight in productions of Dora The Explorer and the return of Blues Clues Live! Blue's Birthday Party.
